Imaginary Friends

Me and JoJo were talking about our childhoods and we thought we would both do a joint blog about imaginary friends.

Ever had an imaginary friend(s)?
When you were a child?
A teen?
Or even an adult?

A child can create imaginary friends(s), if they have a disorder or it could be a solution to feeling lonely.
The creator of the imaginary friend will act as if the imaginary person is real and will try to talk to it. Or even play with it.
If the child is told that the 'being' is not real, they will often get defensive and state thatthe 'friend' is real, but invisible.
Too be honest. I don't know anyone my age who has an imaginary friend(s)
Its uncommon for teens to have imaginary friend(s)
On the other hand, if a teen does have imaginary friend(s) then they may suffer from a disorder. Or like before.. Feel lonely.

In adults, its very uncommon for them to have an imaginary friend(s) as they have 'real friends' from working and socialising.
People do say that when a child has an imaginary friend it could be from them having had a traumatic experience.

Does anyone you know have an imaginary friend?

Its kinda creepy when you think about it.
Who knows what goes on in peoples heads these days...
